1. To approve changing the Presidio School statutory agent from Barry Corey to DeConcini, McDonald Yetwin, & Lacy, P.C. (DMY & L) because Barry Corey has retired and DMY & L has agreed to assume the duty without any transfer fees.

Principal’s Report

• Health Insurance Choice
  • The selection was based upon cost factors that would allow us to maintain the same level of coverage as was provided in previous years. Blue Cross Blue Shield offered coverage with only a slight increase of $38.02 a month for each employee.  Medical coverage through Humana would have increased by approximately 60%, from $421.43 to $675.37 or $167.49 a month for each employee.  
• Building 300 roof update
  • Presidio is still in the process of obtaining bids for the project.  Bids include options for both metal roof and roof sealant (current roofing).  Restoration of the building is needed due to additional water damage as a result of monsoon season.  The roof has been professionally tarped while we await the work to begin.  TG and JM will review bids in the next week and work will hopefully begin by the end of the month.
• Flag Ceremony
  • Presidio’s first all-school flag ceremony is scheduled for Friday, September 9, 2020 at 8:10 AM.  Our guest speaker will be Mr. Ben Berry who is sharing a brief remembrance of 9/11.  Character pillar nominees for the Responsibility pillar will be announced and will be able to have Pizza with the Principal during their scheduled lunches.  The Caring pillar will be introduced, as will any important announcements.
• Back to School Night
  • Presidio’s Back to School/Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 2022 4:30-6:30 PM.  Classrooms are encouraged to decorate their doors, which will be posted on social media for a vote.  The winning classroom will receive a prize.  High School CCCR will collect food for the Food Bank and used blankets and towels for the HSSAZ and the PTSO will have a booth and book drive.
