ASBCS Amendment submission updates
o Presidio received confirmation the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools approved both the Mission
Statement and Program of Instruction amendments. Presidio now needs to update the website, Student
Handbook, ADE School Report Card, Policies and Procedures, and Course Catalog. Presidio will present a
draft of the Student Handbook and Course Catalog at a subsequent Board Meeting for review and approval.

Employee Update
o Presidio’s Director of Aftercare resigned due to scheduling conflicts with her college schedule. The position
has been posted, interviews are being conducted, and a Director’s Designee is ensuring DHS & DES
compliance and student services continue.
o Presidio’s Social Media and Student Information Manager, Erin Foudy, resigned prior to the start of the
school year, but has deferred her last day of work to meet the needs of Presidio School. Erin is actively
involved in the hiring and training of her replacement. Interviews are being conducted. Presidio has also
changed the position title and job description and position title to Social Media and Public Relations
Manager. Although the position title and job description have changed slightly, the Social Media and Public
Relations person will still report to the Director of Finance and Human Resources Director.
State Complaint
o ADE received a complaint in relation to the Presidio Board of Director’s most recent decision to uphold the
retention of a student. Presidio’s Director of Education and Student SupportServices has been working with
the investigator and Presidio’s team to provide all relevant information requested. The investigator will
present the final draft of her findings on/before October 4, 2024.
