- Ms. Bonnie’s Memorial Services
- JE, AC, and KP will attend Bonnie’s service at Legacy Church. The event will be live streamed and recorded. Presidio sent a bouquet and will have our own Memorial Service during the October 29, 2021 Flag Ceremony. CCCR and JE will work together to create a Memorial Board.
- Website Update
- Presidio’s current web developer is closing his business. PP and EF researched alternatives and Presidio now has a new host. The migration is happening and should be completed prior to the next Board meeting.
- Performing Arts Seal update
- Presidio submitted the application by the due date and received a request for additional information on October 1, 2021. Presidio is awaiting approval.
- A for Arizona
- Southern Arizona Micro Grant
- Proposals should focus on:
- Reimagine PreK-12 learning models and nontraditional approaches that better serve all kids at a high level
- Redefine how, when, and where learning takes place, to meet families’ and learners’ needs
- Reduce barriers to or expand PreK-12 nontraditional learning environments with high parent demand
- Have a whole-child focus or customize learners’ experience to be just right for them
- Cultivate a sense of connection and community
- Submission deadline is November 3, 2021
- Dinner on September 29, 2021
- JM and DC attended a dinner gathering hosted by A for Arizona on September 29, 2021 at North Italia. Topics of conversation ranged from A for Arizona grants to successes and struggles school leaders are facing as a result of the global pandemic. JM and DC were able to make connections with Southern Arizona school leaders and learn different perspectives on how to approach grant applications.
- Truck-or-Treat at Northwest YMCA
- Sunday, October 25, 2021; 4-6 PM
