Principal’s Report: 

  1. Presidio Preparedness Plan
    1. Safety Measures
      1. Plexiglass partitions at the front desks of both offices
      2. Plexiglass partitions for the K-2 classrooms
      3. Face masks for all staff and students
      4. Water bottle/drinking fountain stations placed on both campuses
      5. Clorox 360 sanitizing and disinfecting machines that disinfect and sanitize each classroom and playground equipment between uses
      6. Ecolab bathroom cleaning station
      7. Hand sanitizing stations at each gate and courtyard/play area and in each classroom
      8. Staggered schedule to afford staff the opportunity to temperature check students before they enter campus
      9. Breakfast and lunch provided to each classroom for students participating in the NSLP
      10. Indoor/outdoor classroom options for K-2
      11. Classroom furniture modifications to allow for social distancing in the classroom
      12. ICSAVE Bleed Control and Active Killer training for all staff (July 27, 2020)
    2. Re-opening Procedures
      1. Students will arrive to school and enter through assigned gate 
      2. Prior to entering campus, students must have their temperatures taken
      3. People with temperatures that are over 100 degrees will not be allowed on campus.
      4. In order to be in compliance with ADE and CDC guidelines, parents should refrain from coming onto campus
      5. Breakfast and lunch will be eaten  in the classroom
      6. Students will participate in supervised, structured play activities during scheduled recesses
    3. Learning Models
      1. Purchase of Canvas LMS
      2. Lessons will be live streamed/recorded and uploaded for students to view/review 
      3. Purchase of online textbooks, etc.
      4. Students will have option to have hard copies of needed materials
      5. 1:1 computing for grades K-2
      6. Relay filtering system includes GPS tracking for chromebooks
    4. New Positions
      1. Hire three K-5 Paraprofessionals to help with social distancing/blended learning
      2. Hire two monitors to help with social distancing/meal distribution/recesses
        1. Hire one Safety Monitor that ensures all restrooms, drinking fountains are clean and sanitized and verifies all health and safety supplies are replenished.

      1. K-5 Director of Curriculum and Instruction – Jessica Eisberg, former kindergarten teacher, has accepted the position
      2. Kindergarten Teacher-Mike McCauley, former ESS Parapro, has accepted a kindergarten teaching position
      3. Aiyana Smith from New York has accepted the second grade teaching position
      4. Cam Tran, wife of Sifu, has accepted a fourth grade teaching position
      5. Katie Virgin, formerly the NSLP admin assistant, has accepted the Registrar position
      6. Michelle Ursell, formerly a monitor, has accepted the NSLP admin assistant position
    2. Open Positions

    2. Wednesday-Friday, June 17-19 from 2-8:30pm
    3. Each graduate has 45 minutes for their speech, pictures, and celebrating with their family members
    4. Ceremonies will be live streamed
    5. Jim Earl photography taking professional photos
    6. Pete Gonzales – videographer, recording and splicing all speeches into a graduation compilation video at not cost to the school or graduates
    7. Graduates can bring 6 members 
    8. Presidio will follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and sanitizing
